It’s the day and age of digital films and series. The forthcoming short film Special Day starring Shantanu Maheshwari and Sheeba Chaddha is winning all the love at several film festivals. This film has bagged several international awards so far. From winning big at the Tagore International Film Festival to becoming the finalist at New York Movie Award 2020 and semi-finalist at Couch Film Festival 2020, it’s clearly on a roll.
The story is about the bond between a mother and her son played by Sheeba Chaddha and Shantanu Maheshwari, but we have some exclusive scoop on another interesting character. Shantanu who plays Ved Mehra has a girlfriend in the film and her role is essayed by Varsha Bhagwani. Speaking exclusively to SpotboyE, Varsha said, “I play the role of Shantanu's girlfriend named Shreya. It was a one-day shoot in Madh Island.”
Coming back to Special Day, the film had been officially selected at 10th DadaSaheb Phalke Film Festival 2020, Rome Prisma Independent awards 2020, Lake View International film festival 2020, Jaipur Film World 2020 and Filmerra International film festival 2020.
